Want to make a mini-vacation out of this year’s conference? Here are some local activities for you:

  • JFK Hyannis Museum – Learn about President John F. Kennedy, including his presidency, family and connection to Cape Cod.
  • Cape Cod Factory Tour – Take a self-guided tour of the famous Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory.
  • Catch Some Waves – Relax and walk along one of the local beaches! The Town of Barnstable has more than 100 miles of beach to explore. One option to check out is Kalmus Beach.
  • Zion Union Heritage Museum – At this African-American and Cape Verdean history museum, you will learn about how people of color have helped shape today’s Cape Cod.
I look forward to meeting you at the conference, and I hope you enjoy this issue of the MASCA newsletter!
