I hope you’re doing well. It’s hard to believe spring break has passed and many of us are already preparing for the end of the school year.
Our spring meeting was held at the Rankin County School District Office on February 8, 2018. I give much appreciation to the RCSD counseling department for partnering with MSCA so we could hear renowned speaker Dr. Carolyn Stone. She spoke about the legal and ethical issues school counselors face while working with students. (See photos above and below.)
To help celebrate National School Counseling Week, we received many counseling gifts and enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Magnolia Catering and Fine Foods during our business meeting.
According to evaluations everyone gained a wealth of knowledge and many felt this was a great way to end National School Counseling Week.
