VSCA Summer Summit

The VSCA Summer Summit will be hosted at the beautiful Virginia Tech campus on June 21, 2019, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The cost for members is $25 if registered by April 26. The cost goes up to $30 after April 26 and registration is open until June 7; lunch is included with registration. Topics will include how to advocate for your role as the school counselor and your school counseling program.

Podcast Series

VSCA is pleased to introduce our newest podcast series. Our bi-monthly podcasts aim to help fill that professional development void that some counselors experience with an easy and convenient way to access relevant information.

The current new podcast is about small groups, with a counseling team that has some creative and innovative ideas. We hope you can get inspired to revamp or tweak your current small-group program.

VSCA Senior Scholarship Opportunity

The VSCA scholarship application process is now open! Please encourage your high school seniors to write about a school counselor (past or present) who has made a positive difference in their lives. This essay could potentially win them a $1,000 scholarship for their postsecondary education!
