President's Letter: Learn and Connect this Summer

We are in the final stretch of the school year and I'm sure that all of you are very busy at school! I find myself looking forward to the opportunity to relax, restore and learn during the summer months. I hope that we'll have the opportunity to see many NJSCA members at the ASCA Annual Conference in Austin, Texas! Several members of our Executive Board will be in attendance, including President-Elect Cindy Povall, President-Elect-Elect Jason Sabino and me. We are hoping to host a New Jersey get-together at the conference so please reach out to either Cindy (cindypovall@gmail.com) or me (jsmedley@htps.us) to let us know what dates you'll be in Texas. We are looking forward to connecting in person!

Stay tuned for information about our summer Leadership Development Institute this summer at Rider University. LDI is open to any active NJSCA members who would like to get some additional leadership training and provides an opportunity for you to get involved in the state association.
