Dream Big at the ASCA Conference

Attention all school counselors! Don't miss out on the American School Counselor Association Conference, Dream Big, from July 15-18, 2023 in Atlanta, Ga. Join us at the American School Counselor Association Conference for an enriching experience and the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals. We hope to see you there!
 

Lauryn’s Law Training

Attention all school counselors! Don't miss out on our upcoming professional development activity, Unpacking Lauryn's Law for School Counselors: Approaches to Prevention, Intervention and Postvention. This two-day synchronous course satisfies the Maryland State Legislation law HB0947 and the COMAR regulation 13A.12.03.02, and is required for the renewal or reinstatement of your current certificate. Join us online on May 19 and May 20 for three hours of synchronous learning each day, from 5 pm–8 pm on Friday and 9 am–12 pm on Saturday. The course also requires nine hours of asynchronous learning to complete.

The cost of the course is $250 for non-MSCA members and $150 for MSCA members. Remember, May 12 is the last day to cancel and receive a full refund.

By participating in this course, you'll earn both MSDE CPD Approved #19-67-14 and National Board Certified Counselor Contact Hours from an NBCC approved provider (#3044). Access more information and register.
