Professional Recognition Ceremony

MSCA will host its third annual gala event at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City on the afternoon of Saturday, November 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to honor the 2019–2020 Professional Recognition winners. We invite all members to attend the gala, which will include a dessert reception. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to the MSCA office at jill@c2cpro.solutions by Friday, November 15. Suggested dress is business attire.

Annual 2020 Take Ten Conference

Make plans to attend the 2020 Annual Take Ten Conference, taking place Friday, February 28, 2020, at the University of Central Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee’s Summit. 2020 Fall Conference
November 8-10 in Osage Beach
Save the Date for the 2020 Fall Conference! The event will be held on November 8–10 at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach.
Workshop proposals for the conference are currently being accepted. MSCA strives to offer top-notch professional development to our more than 1,300 attendees, and who better to learn from than your fellow school counselors! Members are encouraged to consider submitting a proposal.
MSCA also welcomes presenters from the community. If you know of someone who would be an excellent speaker, please forward this information and encourage them to submit a proposal. Popular potential topics include anxiety, bullying, group counseling, career readiness, grief/loss, mindfulness, play therapy and more.
