President's Letter: United to Serve All

By Michelle Cresap | September 2017

I am looking forward to the Mississippi Counseling Association Fall Conference at the Bancorp South Center in Tupelo November 8-10, 2017! Dr. Kimberly Hall has chosen Counselors: United to Serve All” as the theme for our conference. As school counselors, we work together to make sure that our clients or students get the best possible service we can provide.

Instead of a keynote speaker, Dr. Hall has planned an opening celebration party on Wednesday evening, November 8. Please make sure you stop by for food and fellowship.

This year there is a change in time for the Mississippi School Counseling Association (MSCA) business meeting. The meeting will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 8 in room 5. Unfortunately, this will not be a breakfast meeting. The MSCA business meeting is scheduled at the same time as the First Timer's Breakfast and the MASERVIC business meeting. If you are not able to attend the MSCA meeting, please find someone to update you on what we cover in the meeting.

ACT has again agreed to partner with MCA and do a one-day workshop on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Please evite your principals to attend this very informational meeting.
