NCSCA Legislative Day – June 21, 2018
The North Carolina School Counselor Association works to provide a voice for school counselors across the state. On June 21, our Legislative Day will give you an opportunity to assist with that process!
At this event, we promote issues that are of concern to school counselors and the students we serve. Our meetings with members of the N.C. General Assembly are an opportunity to educate our state senators and representatives about the range of responsibilities that school counselors have.
Every year, NCSCA members help to preserve school counselor positions, protect school counselors' time, reduce student to counselor ratios, and support a salary scale increase and testing coordinator positions when funding becomes available.
Printed copies of our Legislative Day booklet will be distributed at our opening session.
