By Stacy Eslick | December 2018

The WSCA Conference Leadership team is so excited to have you join us for the 2018-19 conference! Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Make your plans now to attend the annual WSCA Conference February 5-7, 2019, at the Monona Terrace in Madison.

With the theme “The Power of Hope,” this year’s conference will offer opportunities for school counselors from around the state to partake in three days of professional development. Highlights of this year’s conference include:
  • Keynote speaker Kevin Fleming, helping us give students hope for their futures with his presentation “(Re)Defining the Goal: Providing True Career Readiness.”
  • Brunch speaker Karen Griffith, inspiring us with the power of hope for childhood resilience.
  • A variety of pre-conference workshops where attendees can engage in more in-depth learning in the areas of career development (ACP), social/emotional student support, cultural competency and counselor self-care.
  • Engaging sectionals that address trending school counseling topics.
  • Multiple networking opportunities to connect with school counseling colleagues both old and new. Returning this year will be the Afterglow Reception on Wednesday evening.
  • Wednesday lunch is now included with your registration!
