This year we are transitioning to a single, two-day annual conference located at the Tinley Park Convention Center on April 16 and 17. April 16 will consist of a workshop-style national trainer and speaker, with April 17 being a day of breakout sessions and collaborative learning. Moving to Tinley Park equates to ease of parking for our members, and the conference can be seen as a destination conference with great social networking on Thursday evening.
We will be showcasing Amie Dean the Behavior Queen on Thursday as she delivers a three-hour deep dive, “Behavior Interventions That Work.” She will also offer condensed content in breakouts on Friday, April 17. Dan St. Romain will open the Friday morning program with his keynote, “The Ripple Effect.” Brian Coleman, the 2019 National School Counselor of the Year, will bring us to the Friday afternoon finish line with his energetic and engaging presentation, “Embrace and Empower the Unicorns.” All of this great content will be hallmarked with school counselor-specific breakouts offering best practices within the field.
This is sure to be the best conference yet – register now!
