RAMP 2025 Toolkit 

Congratulations on your school’s RAMP® designation. This page contains valuable information about the benefits of being a RAMP® school. Each year ASCA awards and celebrates RAMP® recipients and also offers you a number of benefits as a result of your achievement. 

 

ASCA Annual Conference

 

  • A framed plaque recognizing the RAMP® achievement. The plaque is awarded during the RAMP® Awards Dinner (July 14, 2025) at the ASCA Annual Conference in Long Beach, Calif.
  • Two complimentary tickets per school to the RAMP® Awards Dinner. Details about the RAMP® Awards Dinner will be sent to the school’s primary contact in the spring. When registering for the conference, please DO NOT sign up and pay for additional RAMP® dinner tickets unless you require more than two. ASCA will apply the complimentary tickets accordingly. 
  • Discounted conference registration for all school counselors at the RAMP® school. Enter the promo code NEW*RAMP_25 on the first page of online registration to receive the discounted rate of $349. The promo code should be entered on the demographics page above your first name when you register. If you are registering by mail, write in the $349 rate and the promo code on the paper form. Please register by June 1, 2025.  
  • Free, nontransferable, conference registration for your school’s principal for the 2025 ASCA Annual Conference. This registration is only valid for the current school principal. It is not valid for assistant or vice principals. No exceptions. Please note, the complimentary conference registration for the principal doesn't include a ticket to the RAMP® Awards Dinner. To register your school’s principal, contact Kelly Frey.

 

ASCA Membership

 

  • Free ASCA membership is offered to all school counselors and building directors at the RAMP® school. The free membership begins in October 2025 and remains for as long as your school maintains its RAMP® status.
  • In August 2025, your school's primary contact (as indicated on your RAMP® application) will receive an email request from ASCA regarding the free membership sign-up process. 
  • Note: The membership is voided if a school counselor leaves the RAMP® school, works in another position outside of school counseling or moves to a school that does not have RAMP® status.  


Communication 

 

  • In April 2025, ASCA will notify your school's principal, superintendent, school board members, district director and state school counselor association about your school’s RAMP® achievement.  
  • Access the customizable press release to send to local press. (ASCA will also send a press release to our press list announcing the new cohort of RAMP® schools.)
  • Access the RAMP® logo for use on business cards, letterhead, website or printed materials here. 
  • ASCA will recognize all RAMP® schools in the July/August  issue of ASCA School Counselor magazine and on the ASCA website. 
  • Note: The RAMP® designation is for your school and not you personally. You develop, implement and evaluate the school counseling program that has earned RAMP® and are a school counselor at a RAMP® school. The phrase “I’m a RAMP® school counselor” is inaccurate and shouldn’t be used. "We're a RAMP® school" is correct.
